AI credits

AI-powered features (domain analysis, AI Discovery, some DNS/Theft Guard explanations, content monitoring analysis) consume AI credits from your plan.

Where to see your balance

Open Dashboard in the left sidebar - the AI Credits card shows your remaining balance.
Compare plans and allowances on the pricing page (avatar menu -> Pricing, or the plan comparison linked from billing). Upgrade or change plan from Billing & plans.

What uses credits

Quick Add with AI / Analyze with AI on domains
AI Domain Discovery searches
Optional AI explanations on risky DNS changes or security context (when your mode/plan includes them)
Manual on-demand content analysis on uptime monitors (scheduled automatic Content Monitoring does not consume your balance)

If an action fails because you are out of credits, upgrade your plan or wait for the next allocation period shown on your billing page. Non-AI monitoring (basic uptime probes, API Rate Limits header reads) does not use AI credits.

Does Content Monitoring use my credits?

Automatic scheduled Content Monitoring uses AI without consuming your user credit balance. Manual “check now” style content analysis can use credits. Details: Website monitoring.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Credit-consuming actions (Quick Add, AI Discovery, manual content checks, and similar) fail until you upgrade or your plan’s next allocation period. Uptime probes and third-party API Rate Limits header checks keep running.

Do Quick Add and Analyze with AI cost the same?

Both use AI for domain analysis and draw from the same credit pool. Re-running Analyze with AI on an existing domain consumes credits again.

Can DNS or Theft Guard emails use credits?

Some optional AI explanations on risky DNS changes or security context may use credits when your mode and plan include them. Plain factual DNS emails do not.
