Domain expenses
Track portfolio cost under Domains, then Domain Expenses. You can also open it with Expense Analysis from the All Domains page hero.
- Open Domains -> Domain Expenses. Review charts, annual cost, and any budget alerts.
- Click Manage Budget, set your budget, then Save Budget.
- Optional: Manage Folder Budgets to set limits per folder -> Save.
- Optional: Add ROI Record for revenue/value notes -> Save.
- For scheduled email digests, click Email Reports, configure recipients/settings -> Save Settings. Contacts for expense reports are managed under Contacts.
- Export with Export -> Export as CSV or Export as PDF.
- Use Refresh after changing domain pricing; Back to Domains returns to the portfolio.
Annual costs come from domain pricing fields. Keep those up to date on each domain so expense totals stay correct.
FAQ
Why do my expense totals not match what I pay registrars?
Totals roll up from each domain’s renewal cost fields. Update pricing on the domain (or override after AI analysis) and click Refresh on Domain Expenses.
What is Manage Budget vs Manage Folder Budgets?
Manage Budget sets an account-wide budget with alerts when you approach the limit. Manage Folder Budgets applies limits per folder under Organize Domains.
Who receives scheduled expense email reports?
Configure recipients with Email Reports on this page. Verify contacts under Contacts and enable the domain expense reports notification type.
What are ROI records for?
Add ROI Record stores revenue or value notes alongside cost so you can compare portfolio spend to returns in one place—not a tax or accounting ledger.
Can I export expenses for spreadsheets or clients?
Yes. Use Export → Export as CSV or Export as PDF from Domains → Domain Expenses.
